More accurately, attempting to travel-through. The launch was acknowledged by BA to be a mess, and eventually Bill’s baggage caught up with him.

WFC 2010 Soundscapes

Are there any plans to release the 2010 World Financial Center performances? I have to confess I’d been looking forward to these ever since being at the actual performances, and given both the public interest and historical value of these (perhaps the final Fripp concerts ever?), I thought DGM would release these rather quickly. This is to say nothing of the musical quality, which is absolutely outstanding and honestly deserves being archived and heard. It is particularly curious since I know Robert mentioned listening back to the performances in the diary.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve listened to the WNYC New Sounds podcasts of these performances... no wait, I can. I’ve listened to them approximately 55 times over the past 10 months…

Yes, there are plans. But this is one of several proposed undertakings that have suffered the Creative Opportunity-Cost of dealing with, notably, UMG.

Alternatively expressed, the musician’s proper concern is music; the professional musician’s concern is business. And, sadly, as regular visitors to this Diary may by now be well aware, music business = bad business. One main effect, of five years of dealing with problems directly related to UMG’s acquisition of Sanctuary, has been to distract us from our creative work. May we note: large players count upon the Small Artist Effect; and in this, on occasion, they are foolish to do so.

Back to supper and a gentling with the Minx, our first post-Human gentling. WillyFred is also anticipating some adoration now that both his Primary Care Providers are on hand
